In fairness though, Emile Heskey has the excuse of being sh*t. That aside, it’s remarkable the level Messi and Ronaldo have taken football to. The Ballon d’Or used to be a competition. It’s now just a toss up between the two. They continue to break records, single handily win games and just be a pleasure to watch.
