In last year’s Champions League Final, it was a tense 1-1 draw after 90 minutes, with Real Madrid just sneaking into extra time with a late goal. During extra time, it was Bale that score the game changing goal to put Real 2-1 up against rivals Atletico Madrid. They went on to win the game 4-1, but it was indeed Bale that was the aforementioned game changer. And he had been for the entire season. Scoring goals, assisting goals and winning over the fans. Now it would appear that he’s finished scoring goals, he certainly isn’t setting any one up for goals and the fans seem to hate him. Interesting. What did you do Gareth? What DID you do?
